The side entrance brings you into the full service kitchen. Bessie’s kitchen is well suited for several at the dinner table.
The kitchen and front parlor are separated by the staircase. The front parlor offers comfortable seating. The Inn has wireless high speed internet. There is a smart TV in both the front & upstairs parlor so you can log into any of your own entertainment subscriptions.
Out the front doors are charming front porches.
the lower porch has a gate to keep pets or children safe.
The back drive has a rail and a frost free valve where bikes can be washed.
The back entrance has plenty of room to park. A vehicle can be backed in for unloading and loading. There is a ramp off to the side for wheelchair accessibility. In the back hall there is a washer and dryer accessible to guests. There is also a guest closet with a shower chair, a booster combo highchair as well as extra pillows, blankets & towels.
On the right is the door to the Mulberry chamber. On the right at the end of the hall is the bathroom. Turning left at the end of the hallway takes you to the back of the stairway, where if you go left, you enter the kitchen, right you enter the front parlor.
The spacious downstairs bathroom has the original tub. It was installed at Bessie’s when water “came to town”.
The upstairs parlor has a day bed with very interesting history. The top cushions can be removed and underneath you will find a cotton mattress with a bed pad. There are sheets in one of the desks, should an extra person need a place to rest. There are two desks and a smart TV.
Down the hall from the upstairs parlor is a bathroom. At the end of the hall are the Dogwood & Redbud chambers.
Choose your chamber
The Magnolia chamber is downstairs. It has a queen size bed and is attached to the bathroom.
The Mulberry chamber is downstairs near the back door. It has a queen size bed.
Both the Magnolia and Mulberry chamber are wheelchair accessible.
The Dogwood chamber is upstairs on the east side of the house. It has a queen size bed.
The Redbud chamber is upstairs on the west side of the house. It has two full size beds.
Both the Dogwood & Redbud chambers have access to the upstairs porch.
